As the Senior Account Associate, you’ll be the buying lead for paid social. This role offers growth opportunities within within one of the largest groups of global digital agencies with a focus on activation on existing business along with new business opportunities.  You’ll provide day to day account management and serve as a liaison between the Paid Social planning and buying teams, executing flawless, effective campaigns on behalf of GroupM’s top clients.






  • Campaign Execution and Migration
    • Serve as primary liaison with Paid Social strategy teams to develop, execute and steward campaigns that deliver against the social and digital strategy
    • Review accounts to ensure that they are pacing and delivering against business objectives
    • Support Manager to set client expectations for deadlines, deliverables, and ad hoc requests
    • Ensure seamless transition of Paid Social campaigns to Agency staffed teams via clear and effective communication and thoughtful campaign set up following team processes/ best practices
    • Work closely with Head of Practice, Director, Paid Social and Group Director Search and Social to prioritize team resource for maximum impact across clients
    • Team Management and Leadership
      • Lead Associate(s) in executing strategically while setting up campaigns as efficiently as possible
      • Delegate work effectively so as to not only teach direct reports, but to also deliver seamless work to client
      • Guide and counsel Associate(s) on day-to-day activities
      • Train Associate(s) in paid social and marketing disciplines as well as the specifics of the client’s business and industry
      • Follow team process and best practices to deliver operational efficiencies within the team and the group
      • Monitor quality control on daily workflow and that all processes are followed including training and budget management
      • Keep abreast of current events, media trends and any target market industry trends that impact the paid social channel
    • Account Management
      • Onboard and execute for all paid social matters that fall within scope of agency assignment
      • Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts
      • Keep Manager and Director of Paid Social apprised of campaign launches, opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business



Desired Skills:


  • 1 to 2 years of related media planning experience, with focus on client facing day to day lead
  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and/or communications preferred
  • Possess and demonstrate excellent understanding of media fundamentals, including media math and communication goals
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with systems/tools
  • Excellent quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Demonstrate sharp, critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within and effectively manage a team, prioritizing and organizing multiple assignments for both self and team direct reports
  • Ability to provide and receive feedback with MRI (most respectful interpretation)
    • Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work
    • Detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
    • Financial rigor in delivering to defined budgets while using or overseeing use of self-serve tools
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Show ability in training capability
    • Exhibit passion through appropriate participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives
    • Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business
    • Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency at MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Knowledge of bidded buying; proficiency with ads API partner strongly preferred (may include Kenshoo, Marin,, Unified, Social Code, SHIFT or similar)



We Offer:

Salary up to $120 depending on experience
