What you will be doing

You have to be thetype of person that craves a challenge and wants to work at an exciting start up. You mustbe an experienced, accomplished and successful sales professional with a demonstrabletrack record in building a sales pipeline and closing enterprise scale deals in generalbusiness.

You have to be able to manage a broad territory and be able to carry the entire salesprocess from start to finish on your own merits and skills. This doesn’t mean we won’t behelping you sell – we absolutely will. But we believe strongly in a sales person that has theability to play all of the important sales roles, from:

 Being confident in selling a

 Demonstrating the value propositions of our products and services

 Partnering with the client’s marketing and ecommerce team and working

through their organisation to find and support the

 Tenacity and persistence to ‘go the extra mile’ to close opportunity

 Exceptional communication skills, articulate in both verbal and written presentation

 Ability to build credibility with client from ‘first touch’

 Must have innate business acumen in order to qualify opportunity and report sales

pipeline accurately and consistently

 To achieve Platform License sales

 To significantly grow a sales pipeline license sales opportunities

 To sell to both enterprise and commercial customers at C-level, presenting the Social

Annex value proposition and using deep customer insight to win deals through highly

competitive, complex and high stakes sales processes

The ideal candidate will be someone with an extremely strong record of achievement in a

new business sales position within software and/or/other online based technologies. A

background in selling into marketing or ecommerce departments up to CMO/Ecommerce

Director level would be a major advantage along with an understanding of social and the

impacts it can have on business in today’s world. If you do not have this background you will

need to convince us that you have the ability to learn these ropes quickly and bring a

perspective that can easily be adapted.

You will work closely with marketing and market development (inside sales) to help build

your pipeline but ultimately you are the one that is driving the sales cycle at every stage.

This position will require that you travel depending on the needs of prospects.

What you will be doing

o College / University degree

o Significant work experience in a customer-facing new business sales role

o Expert in selling an innovative product in a new industry ideally within a start-

up environment.

o Strong knowledge of and experience in the space (social) or a close to space

(online marketing technologies) that Social Annex sits.

o Entrepreneurial ‘hunter’ mentality

o Proven track record of achieving sales quota

o Experience with a company operating under a SaaS model

o Team player

o Comfortable selling to senior managers

o Have a strong record of general business sales success ie building a sales

pipeline and closing enterprise scale deals

o Be highly motivated and a strong negotiator and clear communicator

o Possess a passion and enthusiasm for delivering technology led business

transformation

o Thrive in a target driven environment

o Have a strong understanding the Social SaaS landscape

o Have a positive attitude
