Our client is a leading provider of financial solutions for growing businesses. Founded in 2001, and headquartered in Coral Springs, FL, they offer small business loans and merchant cash advances to small and mid-size businesses, in the US, Canada, and the UK. Thanks to our rapid growth, we are currently recruiting for Business Development Managers in several cities.

These talented individuals will cultivate lucrative partnerships with the best of breed companies that cater to small business owners.

The successful salesperson can identify, prospect, and secure partnerships with a variety of companies in the B2B space.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
  • Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
  • Works with marketing and sales to implement business development initiatives.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Typically reports to a manager.
  • Constant communication with outside businesses
  • Continuous lead follow up
  • Consistent communication and status updates with sales manager

 

 

Desired Skills:

 

 

  • 2-4 years minimum sales experience
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • High level of ambition, integrity and respect for others
  • Strong sense of financial sales
  • Punctuality and strong work ethic
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Educational Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or marketing

Competitive Salary:

$80K – $100K (OTE) depending on experience.

“On-track” or “on-target” earnings (OTE)

The typical pay structure may be composed of a basic salary with an additional amount of commission. The package usually involves a contract between the company and the sales person that ensures a specific commission percentage, fixed lump payment, or a combination of both, provided that the salesperson hits specified sales targets. While all commission plans are unique, often exceeding sales targets results in higher commission rates on sales beyond target for a specific period.
