Our Client seeks an experienced Account Director to work full time in their NYC office. This company is one of the largest and fastest growing marketing and media companies focused on reaching consumers through venues in North America.  Since the company was founded in 2001, has connected 80% of the Fortune 500 brands with more than two billion customers by reaching them when they are in the right frame of mind to engage with brands. Expert in trial-generation, tactics include product sampling, targeted out-of-home media, experiential marketing, and social media integration

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Acquire and manage all new accounts while fostering relationships for growth
  • Deliver target revenue goals into specific Brand Connections verticals per annual forecast
  • Evaluate and adjust forecasting strategy to deliver accurate revenue forecasting within a targeted percentage margin of error
  • Provide leadership and industry expertise among the sales team
  • Manage territories and key account strategy under the sales coverage area.
  • Utilize of salesforce.com, dashboards, reports, and management tools.
Desired Skills:

This candidate must possess between 5 and 8 years of sales marketing experience.  The Account Director will have successfully managed business and have exceeded revenue goal requirements.  The candidate will also lead by example and successfully sell to select clients each year. Applicants must be highly strategic and organized, with excellent written and oral skills, exceptional attention to detail, and have a willingness to travel.

Potential candidates should exhibit most or all of the following:

  • Solid and relevant CPG and promotional relationships used in selling integrated campaigns
  • History of successful direct selling generating $4 – 6MM in new business annually
  • Prior success in renewing existing clients year to year
  • Proven ability developing 360 degree marketing solutions that integrate sampling and event marketing
  • Experience with  social media to drive brand engagement as part of integrated campaigns
  • Solution oriented to over deliver while holding oneself highly accountable
  • Prior success overseeing multiple projects at one time
  • An ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
  • Superb organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
